Dr. Michelle Deslauriers
PT, DPT

Michelle earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree in 2005 from Washington University in St. Louis, the top ranked PT school in the nation. She received her bachelor of science in Exercise Science from the George Washington University. As a result of her training with distinguished faculty, including Shirley Sahrmann, PT, PhD, FAPTA at Washington University, Michelle has an individualized and creative approach to treating patients.

Michelle uses a variety of hands-on techniques focusing on connective tissue (fascia). Integrative Manual Therapy® (IMT) is a unique array of gentle osteopathic techniques that delivers outstanding results for patients.  Michelle is also a practitioner of the John F. Barnes myofascial release approach. This work is based on scientific evidence and bridges the gap between traditional western medicine and alternative medicine. Michelle combines these techniques with traditional physical therapy techniques, dry needling, postural restoration, and functional movement.

When she's not in the clinic, Michelle enjoys playing tennis, frisbee, biking, and spending time with her son.
